From these roots, Worthy has grown into a pioneering community developer and innovation platform. Today, we combine our financing expertise with a broader mission: building Regenerative Health Homes™, regenerative infrastructure, and Circle Engineered communities that integrate wellness, sustainability, and abundance.

About the founder
Founder & President – Worthy Group of Companies
David Salmon, founder and president of the Worthy Group of Companies, was born and raised in the Cowichan Valley on southern Vancouver Island, BC. His entrepreneurial journey began early — at just 17, he launched his first real estate venture, Worthy Island Investments Inc., which would evolve into the Worthy Communities Group. From the start, his mission has been clear: to help people achieve homeownership, build wealth, and create lasting prosperity.
Over the past 25 years, David and the Worthy team have guided / consulted many clients through real estate transactions and investments of all sizes. His work spans sales, marketing, financing consulting, and large-scale development, with a track record of managing hundreds of millions in real estate assets across residential, commercial, and master-planned communities.
David also founded Worthy Developments, a licensed 2/5/10 New Home Warranty builder, where he delivered numerous custom homes before selling the company to focus on his long-term vision — revitalizing the historic town of Paldi. This dream project has grown into The Elk Ridge Community, a sustainable, master-planned development that integrates health, renewable energy, regenerative systems, and innovative pathways to ownership.
Beyond business, David is deeply committed to service and family. For more than 20 years, he has volunteered extensively, coaching and supporting individuals facing cancer and other serious illnesses, guiding them toward holistic health through detoxification and organic nourishment.
